Interactive Roadway 'nearly complete!'
The children have returned to school to find that their amazing new Interactive Roadway has been installed whilst they were away. They now have fantastic opportunities to develop their motor and coordination skills riding bikes, trikes, scooters and using their wheelchairs and walkers to access the roadway. The zebra crossings are also helping to develop road safety skills. The musical instruments and the talking wobbling bridge are a great hit! We are now just waiting for the fully functioning traffic lights to be installed - hopefully by the end of September. Thank you to everybody who has helped to raise funds towards the project and a massive thankyou to Wooden Spoon for their donation - without it the project would have taken another 5 years to happen! Now we need to get some more new bikes, trikes and scooters and of course safety helmets and a shed to keep them all in safely.
