About Dance Massage

Dance Massage combines the soothing, sensory experience of massage with the rhythm and energy of music. It  is an experience that uses music as it's main focus to encourage communication between the individual and the Dance Massage partner. A variety of sensory objects or hands are used on different areas of the upper body, legs and hands along to the rhythm and beats within the preferred piece of music. We have been doing an All About Me dance massage which focuses on emotions. Each emotion is linked to a colour and so it compliments the story The Colour Monster. The adults exaggerate their facial expressions and movements to match the emotion. At the moment most of the class like excited where we all go a bit mad and Salsa!
