Today we are going to learn our first digraph. A digraph is two letter that make one sound.

Below is a PowerPoint that we would normally do together in class. There are lots of opportunities to practice the ck sound.

After there is a fun football game you can play with your child, instruction are attached below.

Focus: Exploring 3D Shape

Today we are creating a 3D collage.

You will need:  assortment of materials for collage e.g. cubes, blocks, shapes, cotton wool, reels, paper etc; large paper; masking tape

• Allow children to explore the equipment before narrating their activity or introducing ‘Talking points’, drawing out positional language as they place objects.
• On a piece of paper, draw a picture of a house or train. Something your child is interested in.  
• If needed, model beginning to fill an area with the objects to create a collage.

Photograph the finished collage.
