Week beginning 8th February

Hello Wrens Class,

Our "Welcome To Our World" topic will take us all over the globe looking at different continents and countries.

There are some lovely videos for you to watch of people saying hello and singing to us from various countries in the next two weeks. We must sing back for them one day.

Please watch the video below of some children from Norway singing for us. They are singing a song called "The Bear is sleeping", first in Norwegian and then in Sami. It was minus 12 degrees when they sang for us, that is very cold!

Norway is a country in Northern Europe. The Sami live in the North of Norway, we will be finding out more about Norway and the Sami people after half term.

It is The Sami National day this Saturday, 6th February, have a look on Google to see them celebrating this with their reindeers. smiley
