Our key text this term - The Three Billy Goats Gruff
This story is about three goats, who want to get to the sweet green grass the other side of the river. A short trip across the bridge would get them there, but there is a grumpy troll who will eat them if they try to cross. The children will find out, in class, how the three goats get across the bridge.

Painting the tiger who came for tea
This week we have been reading 'The Tiger Who Came for Tea.'
The children have loved role playing in our home corner, making tea for the tiger. The have also enjoyed make a cup of tea or lemon tea during water play. Some children even tasted the lemon tea. We have been busy painting our own tigers working on the stripes and choosing the correct colours.
