This term Swifts Class have been to RDA horse riding. The children have improved so much and loved every minute of their time on the horse. See pictures below.
In My Geography, we have been looking at the UK and how land is used. Yesterday, we became farmers for the afternoon and tended to our land. We ploughed our land, then planted our crops. See the pictures below.

Red Nose Day
We have had a lovely time celebrating Red Nose Day. All week we have been discussing the talent show on Friday. Today the class put on a beautiful show, each one of the children took part and it was very hard to choose a winner to put forward to the final. Here is our winning performer.

World Book Week!
It has been a tough decision choosing our book to focus on this week. However, after going through all of the choices the children decided to go for ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’. We have had a week playing listening and communication games, exploring the story sack, retelling the story in our own way. The children have loved every minute. They particularly enjoyed putting on their imagination hats and making their own story The Hungry Tadpole. As part of a school project we have made a life size character from our story. We made a giant hungry caterpillar which opens up and tells the story. We have also taken part in making a hotel full of different stories. Photos of the display will be on the school’s twitter page as well.

Hello and welcome to Swifts Class!
We have had a great start to the new school year. We have been getting to know each other and we have been exploring our new classroom. We have loved sharing our summer holiday news, we've had lots of photos to get through.
This term our topics is seasons. We have some lovely books to read and fun lessons to take part in. We can't wait to share with you some photos of what we get up to in class.
