Activity 1 -  Edible sensory play

We love sensory play and the activities for today are all edible. (Eating is optional!)

The activities are:  Edible sensory balls, starburst slime, marshmallow slime and other suggested activities using materials that are fun to play with and tasty as well.

Activity 2 – My Independence- Life skills

The Queen likes to have afternoon tea parties in her palaces. She invites lots of people and they all enjoy sandwiches, cakes and scones.

Today, you are going to be a royal scone maker! We are going to make some lovely, light and fluffy scones that will be fit for royalty.

Make sure you measure out the ingredients carefully and don’t forget to ask your grown up for help if things get tricky. Do not use the oven without your grown up.

The recipe can be found below and on the activity sheet.

Activity 3 – My thinking and problem solving

Can you follow the instructions to help the queen find her purse?

In resource pack, you will find a map with instructions on. Follow the instructions and help the Queen find her purse. What landmarks do you go pass? Encourage your child to identify left and right.

There is a helpful poster to remind you child as well.

Activity 4 – My creativity and play – Messy play.
