Phase 3: Introducing ai

Today we are looking at another digraph ai. Below is a PowerPoint to talk through with your child. They are used to seeing these in school and love learning about Sam and Kit.

Activity: Below is a board game, called snail trail, for you to play with your child. This will help them practice the sound they have learnt to day.

Starter: This afternoon we have a couple of activities for your child to try.

Activity 1: You can try writing like Egyptians do. Try painting your name in hieroglyphics. Below is a sheet to help you work out how to spell your name.

Activity 2: Using a paper plate create an Egyptian collar.
