Welcome to Eagles Class first remote learning week, we have a variety of activities based on the story of 'Stick and Stone'. You can use lots of natural items as resources to help your learning.
Activity 1
Watch the You Tube video of the Stick and Stone story.

Hide sticks, stones and pinecones in shaving foam. When the objects are found categorise them into sticks, stones and pinecones.
Activity 2
Finding one of an item – find one of each item you have collected. Match to a number 1. Give one to a toy.
Activity 3
Show in the video where the stick is kind to the stone. Use communication books to select activities they can help with.
Options to try: 1. Soapy water play to help wash up plastic cups.
2.Dropping items into box when tidying up.
3.Collect,tipping and gathering rice in a tray to model cleaning up.
