My Letters and Sounds- use the resources from day one, try to encourage your child to copy the sound or point to the sound you are making.

Find a word card for each part of the story or

Write/say a word or sentence for each part of the story.

Complete a handwriting or colouring task

 

Activity 2

Can you count how many different foods the Caterpillar eats. How many are fruit and how many are not fruit.

Extension:

Use the Venn diagram to sort the food the Hungry Caterpillar eats – how many ways can you sort it?

Notes to help -  A Venn diagram shows the relationship between a group of different things (a set) in a visual way. Using Venn diagrams allows children to sort data into two or three circles which overlap in the middle.  Each circle follows a certain rule, so any numbers or objects placed in the overlapping part (the intersection) follow both rules.

Read Making a Habitat Instruction sheet

Can they with help follow instructions to collect things for a small habitat? Can they put these in a jar?
