Focus: Patterns and Sequence

The last couple of sessions we’ve done a lot of work on shape, patterns and sequences. Today we are going to sort buttons. I have attached below buttons and a sorting card. Your child is to experiment in how they can be organised. Will they sort them by colour or shape?

Once they have tried sorting them into different groups, can they use them to make different sequences?
