Story:  Welcome to our world pages 1 -8. Looking at how people say hello and their families.

Activity 2: Watch Cbeebies video of different children introducing you to their families  and label pictures of their family. Try writing the names in different languages.

Focus: Patterns and Sequence

Today we are looking at pattern.

There are two way you can carry out this activity.

Option 1: You can get your child to copy your movements. E.g. Clap your hands, tap your knees and tap your nose. Can they repeat the sequence? Can they come up with their own Sequence? 

Option 2: Drawing lines, dots and shapes on a piece of paper can they finish of the pattern. To make this more fun you could use play dough, sand or shaving foam to make the patterns in.

My World and how it works

This afternoon we have a few activities we can do.

Activity 1: Can you make a playdough face? You may need to get a mirror to be able see yourself/

Activity 2: This afternoon I would like you to focus on what makes you happy. 

Can you draw pictures of the things that make you happy.

Activity 3: Colouring in hello in different languages.
