Letters and Sounds
This week we are recapping the igh, oa and oo sounds we learnt last week. (Use the resources provided for letters and sounds last week). Try and focus for ten minutes on reading, spelling and writing words with those sounds. You could even have a game of snap! Write out the words a few times onto different pieces of paper, shuffle them, share them out and say snap if you see a matching word.
The person with the most word cards wins !
Activity 1
Find a Victoria Sponge recipe. Read it together. Check you have the ingredients and follow the instructions to make! Have fun!
Activity 2
Use playdough / or draw a cake on paper and cut out the parts. Can you cut your cake into 2,4,6,8, 10 pieces?
