Focus: My Letters & Sounds

Revisit letter sounds e,u,r and the digraph (two letters one sound) ck using letter sound info sheets.

Complete Phonics 8.2.21 activity 1. Encourage children to sound out and blend sounds to support reading of words. To support, adult to sound out word for child and encourage them to blend the sound together orally and find the corresponding picture.

Complete repeating fruit pattern activity (repeating fruit patterns 8.2.21 activity 2). Encourage children to think about pattern and what comes next. For example, “orange, strawberry, orange, strawberry, what is next?”
