Activity 2: Motor Skills and turn taking:

 

Rolling balls counting the amount of passes/rolls.

Use different shapes and sizes.

Encourage throwing, pushing and rolling with one and two hands.

Rolling on different surfaces .e.g wodden floor, carpet, grass.

Picking up balls and dropping them from different heights.

 

Activity 3 : Life skills and Sensory Play: Real Mexican Soft Tacos

soft corn tortillas
1 can black beans
grilled chicken breast strips
salsa or tomato sauce

 

Warm tortillas on grill or in microwave. Add a scoop of black beans, chicken strips, and salsa (optional: add shredded lettuce and cheese). Enjoy!

 

Sensory play and Role play making tacos: Encourage using warm tacos to pick up ingredients and mash together. Pouring salsa from a cup. Picking up strips of chicken using pincer grip.
