Day 4

Activity 1 

Look at the Olivers Vegetables pictures and answer the questions.

Sort some fruit and vegetables according to which part of the plant you eat – leaves, roots, seeds.

Activity 2 

Sequence and order your meals times throughout the day. Cut out and order breakfast, lunch and dinner. Feel free to add in snack or super too! Make the clock faces with the meal. .e.g 8:00 is time for breakfast.

Activity 3 

Grow a potato.

1. Fill a water glass with tap water. 

2. Insert four toothpicks into the potato, spacing them around the middle of the potato about two-thirds up from the end with the densest sprouts.

3. Set the glass in an area that receives about six hours of direct sunlight.

When it sprouts you can plant it in the garden.
