Day 1

Hi,                                                                   

 

We have 10 days of activities around being healthy based on story of  ‘The Hungry Caterpillar’. Each day there are three activities to complete. Please take photos if you can, we look forward to hearing and seeing how you get on!

Please use instruction sheet to follow how to make a sensory bag for the hungry caterpillar and use communication board to help your child to identify what they can see. (Keep pictures as these may be needed for another day). 

 

Can they find pictures from the story on the communication board when requested to?

 

Activity 2Explore different fruit with your senses. Put different amounts into various containers. 

You could try sorting different objects or fruit. Use the video below to help you.

Activity 3Make a finger print caterpillar using paint or your own mark making resources.

Alternative- draw around round objects, food or hands to make long caterpillar.
