Focus: My Letters & Sounds

Revisit sounds previously learnt and learn all about the new sound ‘b’ (23.2.21 Level 2 Week 5 Lesson 2 Lesson Presentation activity 1 'b' sound). Go to slide show, start from beginning and follow the presentation to practise your sounds, actions, graphemes and blending.

Snakes and Ladders game (23.2.21 activity 2). With an adult, roll your dice (23.2.21 dice activity 2). Who got the highest number? Your turn first! If you land on the head of a snake, you slide your counter back down. How many positions back will you have to move – count backwards from the number you are currently on. If you land at the bottom of a ladder you can slide up to the top – how many positions forwards will you move – count on from the number you are currently on. If your counter lands at the bottom of the snake, stay where you are. First one to 20 wins! Have fun!
