Furry visitors to school

Today we had a special visitor

It's beginning to look like Christmas.........

Large, messy art

Exploring pumpkins and classroom activities

Welcome back, hope everyone had a lovely half term.

This term our topic is In the Sky and we will be looking at the world above our heads. We will be starting with exploring trees and looking at the changing colours of the leaves. We will have opportunities to sit and experience the leaves moving in the wind in forest school . We will also explore objects that can be seen in the sky such as stars, planes and kites. This will lead us nicely into the time of year when a special visitor can be seen flying in the sky on Christmas Eve and of course the Christmas star!

As well as our topic work we will also be participating in activities for anti-bullying week and Children in Need.

No doubt this will be another busy and fun term!

Enjoying the Bear Hunt Story

Welcome back to Owls class, hopefully you all had a good Summer. We have two new friends joining us this year, Lara and Harry, we look forward to getting to know them.

This term our topic is Family, Friends and Pets so we will be spending time looking at people in our lives who are important to us. We will be exploring a range of different texts but our key text will be Going on a Bear Hunt, this will provide us with lots of opportunities for sensory exploration. As always we will be participating in a range of activities and we look forward to sharing the photos with you over the coming weeks.
