This half term our learning is all about food and where it comes from. We will be looking at what we can eat and how it is grown.

 Our key text this half term is: 

The Enormous Turnip

 

A grandfather plants a turnip, which grows so big he cannot pull it out himself. He asks the grandmother for help, but they still cannot pull it out. So, he asks some other people and animals to help pull the turnip up.

Beegu is about a little alien who crashes to Earth in her spacecraft. Feeling bewildered and alone she awaits a rescue signal from her mother. Beegu sets off to find new friends on this strange new planet.

This half term we will be learning about dinosaurs and all the different species. We will also be preparing for Christmas through a performance and crafts. Our key text this half term is: 

Tyrannosaurus drip by Julia Donaldson 

 

Little Tyrannosaurus Drip is vegetarian and peaceful and can't keep up with the tribe he is in. He eventually finds salvation in the arms of a Duckbill tribe where he realises he belongs.
