Welcome to Eagles Class first remote learning week, we have a variety of activities based on the story of 'Stick and Stone'. You can use lots of natural items as resources to help your learning. 

 

Activity 1

Watch the story of Stick and Stone on the Youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ncw2ZjMP9Y 

Can you spell stick using sticks? Can you spell stone using stones?

Find natural resources in the garden or outside area. Spell out the characters names.

 

Activity 2

Can you count five sticks or stones? Carry out addition and subtraction of your groups of five – How many ways can you make five using 2 numbers?

Activity 3

Talk about how the stick was kind to the stone? How was stick kind? Talk about how we can be kind today? Talk about how they can be kind today. Suggest activities children can do to help parents or themselves.
