Activity 2 – My Communication, Language and Literacy
Today our focus will be developing your child’s writing skills. In your Day 3 resource pack find the ‘I can see sheet’. Support your child writing and forming sentences on the things they can see outside their window.
Use the sentence stem: I can see…
They may write ‘I can see trees.’
Learning objectives:
. I can use a capital letter and full stop correctly
. I can use finger spaces
. I can use my phonics knowledge
EXT- You can extend this activity by challenging them to use an adjective. ‘I can see tall trees’. Use the phonics sheet and word mat in you Day 3 resource pack to support your child in the activity.
Activity 3 – I have set aside this slot to give me time to catch up with you. I would like to schedule a time we could meet over teams to chat about how things are going with your child.
