Activity: Attached below and in your packs you will find a sheet (week 1 day 2 activity 1) Can you label the different pictures from the story using symbols? What can you see in the picture? Who are the main characters?

Using 2D shape cut outs (week 1 day 2 activity 2) make Grandad’s house. Can you use triangles, circles, rectangles and squares to build Grandad’s house?

Focus: Art/DT – Making a kite.

If you don’t have the equipment at home to make a kite. You could make a Matariki kite. See instructions attached below.

 

If you don’t have the equipment to make of those to options, decorate a plastic bag, attach either some string or wool to the handles and you have a kite. Hours of fun on a windy day.
